Google Drive

Google Drive is a free service from Google that makes it easy to store files online and access them from any computer using your own account.  Most of Google Drive is created to reflect Microsoft Office.  This makes it very easy to use and very convenient, because carrying around a flash drive isn’t exactly necessary anymore. On Google Drive, a person is able to create documents, spreadsheets and more.
Each Google Drive account offers 15GB of free storage space.  There are endless advantages to keeping your files online.  Because files can be accessed from any computer with internet connection, Google Drive eliminates the need for email or to save a file using a USB drive.  Another benefit of using Google Drive over Microsoft Office is you are able to connect with people over Google Drive.  It is a user-friendly system where group projects are made easy by the click of a button.  On Google Drive, a person is able to share their worksheet, or document with another person and they are able to invite them to edit or just view it.  There is also an option where you can have an online conversation about the document.  Multiple people can work on a group project and have conversations over Google Drive, not just a two-person interaction.
Google Drive is a very popular source in High School, College and in a professional business field.  People are always working together in groups and creating spreadsheets as well a documents and drawings over the computer.  Not only can you save regular Google documents on Google Drive but you can also save documents from Microsoft Word and other applications as well.  This makes it easy to transfer work to another computer when needed and in absence of a flash drive or email address.  I always found Google Drive to be very useful in high school, I always had to find a way to transfer my work on my school computer to my work on my home computer and vice versa.  Entering ninth grade, I found Google Drive to be a part of my everyday life.
One negative of using Google Drive is that accounts can be hacked, therefore leading to a change in password and all your files becoming deleted.  There are many risks in using a computer to store files, but if you save it in more than one spot, you will always be able to protect yourself in any kind of situation.
Google Drive is an extremely cost-effective way to store documents, presentations, music, pictures, videos or any other files you can’t afford to lose.
